Thank you for respecting our check-in and check-out times. They are set to ensure our cleaning staff has adequate time to prepare the cabin and property for the next guests. We do not accommodate changes.

✓ Our check-in time is at 4:00 PM. Prior to and after arrival, please:

• Review reservation details and rental rules found on your confirmation email.

• Research area attractions, activities and establishments in case you have extra time to explore beforehand.

• Pack your fishing gear. While we offer plenty human-powered watercraft and life jackets, you’ll need to bring your own rods and reels plus tackle.

• Park nearest the concrete garage apron and unload there. Then use the sidewalk to transport items to the front door. Please do not park on or haul items across the lawn. (Let’s keep this area in great shape for lawn games, instead.) While we offer ample parking space for vehicles, our parking arrangement is not snowmobile or boat trailer-friendly. (No trail access or public landing, anyways.)

• Unlock using the custom six-digit key code upon rental verification, valid through the last day of your stay. The key to the gear garage (no enclosed car parking) door will be sitting on the buffet counter under the kitchen window. (Note: Use both handles when opening the gear garage door.) Please return key immediately after opening and prior to departure.

✓ Our check-out time is at 10:00 AM. Prior to departure, please:

• No need to make your bed as we will be washing all the sheets and blankets anyway. However, we ask that you peel off both sheets (fitted and flat) and all pillowcases. Top Bunks Exception: The fitted sheet features a zipped layer for convenience. Please unzip to remove. Then place them in the laundry basket found in each closet. We’ll take it from there, including collecting bath and kitchen towels.

• Fill and run dishwasher. Any items that are not suitable for the dishwasher should be washed and allowed to air dry.

• An abundance of gratitude for leaving the shelves and drawers in the refrigerator and pantry clean and uncluttered for our next guests. Whatever items you choose not to take home, please see that they are placed in their respective trash or recycling bin to the left of the dishwasher. All trash and recycling must be sealed and carried to their respective bins in the garage prior to departure.

✓ We encourage all guests to respect the natural beauty of the property. Please double-check that:

• All trash and recycling has been properly bagged and deposited in the bagged receptacles located in the gear garage. A $20 per instance pick-up fee will be reflected in your damage deposit.

• Watercraft and accessories (paddles, life jackets, noodles, lilypad, etc.) and all gear and games are returned to storage racks, bins, and designated Gear Garage areas. A $20 per item re-organization fee will be reflected in your damage deposit.
